Google announced the new Android 12 along with the first public beta of Andriod 12 at the Google I \/O event on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The public beta is now available for Google’s Pixel phones (Pixel 3 and above) and will also come on devices such as OnePlus. Lenovo, Asus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, TCL, Vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Android 12 offers a bunch of new features, especially new graphics with new animations, widgets, a modified lock screen, and Android theming that enables Android users to change the colors used throughout the operating system by simply changing the wallpapers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not all new features will be available in the beta version but new updates will continue to launch closer to the actual release date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Google is also improving other features of the Android operating system, including notifications and quick settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It also improves its privacy and security features, with indicators of when the phone’s camera or microphone is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Google is also making it easier to access the various permissions of your apps by dropping them in a dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a Pixel, the first step is to visit the Android 12 beta website to enlist your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The user then receives a notification on the device that the software is ready for installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Users who want to manually install the beta version will need to open the setting’s menu on the phone, then go to System > System Update and tap “Check for Update” to see if the new software can be installed now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
