Although it remains unclear whether Apple and Signal complied with the rules, WhatsApp has sued the Indian government over the provision to introduce a way to track down the source of the messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WhatsApp says it will compromise its users’ data if it decides to follow the rules, which is clearly against its mandate.<\/p>\n\n\n
