{"id":7653,"date":"2021-06-29T11:15:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-29T15:15:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.technewsday.com\/?p=7653"},"modified":"2021-07-23T14:01:22","modified_gmt":"2021-07-23T18:01:22","slug":"chromes-display-cards-will-remind-users-about-recent-searches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/technewsday.com\/staging\/chromes-display-cards-will-remind-users-about-recent-searches\/","title":{"rendered":"Chrome\u2019s Display Cards Will Remind Users About Recent Searches"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In an attempt to help users &#8220;pick up from where you left off,&#8221; Google is now surfacing cards in Chrome&#8217;s New Tab Page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Available on Chrome for the desktop, these cards appear at the bottom of the new tab after the company logo\/Doodle, search bar\/URL field, and frequently visited websites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the example of &#8220;recipe ideas,&#8221; Google listed three links with title images, article names, and the page in question where search terms were suggested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When experimenting with the feature last year, Google explained, &#8220;To help you jump back into activities like planning a meal, researching a holiday gift, or winding down with a video, we&#8217;ll soon add cards to your new tab page in Chrome.
