Zoom’s PWA Brings Features To Chromebooks, Web

Zoom recently unveiled its new Zoom Progressive Web app, which aims to improve its functionality on the Web and specifically on Chromebooks, with a promising overall enhancement of the Zoom experience without a fully native application.

Considering the new app as opposed to the old one, there are three important changes to take note of.

They include the general user interface that now captures more accurately what users are likely to find on the native app via a platform like Windows, the “Reactions” button that now matches other platforms, and the third important feature is support for zoom video backgrounds on Chromebooks via the Web app.
