T-Mobile Reports Revenue Of $20 Billion In Q2

Wireless carrier, T-Mobile reported revenue of $20 billion in the second quarter, surpassing Wall Street’s forecast of $19.34 billion.

While T-Mobile’s revenue in the second quarter increased by 13% compared to the previous year, the mobile operator also recorded an increase of 1.4 million net subscribers in the second quarter.

According to T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert, the company benefits from its 5G networks and unlimited plans.

T-Mobile has added 627,000 additional postpaid phone connections and postpaid accounts from 349,000.

In addition, the integration of Sprint is showing pleasing results: Around 80% of Sprint traffic is now handled via the T-Mobile network and a third of customers have moved over.
