Trump Can’t Avoid Facebook Ban via Daughter-in-law’s Account

April 4, 2021

Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump was recently warned by Facebook after she promoted a new interview with Donald Trump on Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday. Facebook warned that anything posted “in the voice of President Trump” is currently not allowed on Facebook or Instagram and must be removed.

These rules and restrictions on Donald Trump apply to all accounts or pages associated with Trump’s campaign, as well as those belonging to former campaign aides. So, although there is an exception to Trump’s ban, which includes a “60 minutes” kind of interview, Facebook disapproved of Lara Trump’s interview because she was part of Donald Trump’s campaign.
