Twitter Spaces Introduces A Co-host Feature

August 6, 2021

Twitter has introduced a new feature called “co-hosting,” which allows Spaces hosts to invite other people to help them moderate.

This means that from now on, a single room can include one host, two co-hosts and up to 10 speakers.

With the new feature, a co-host can invite additional people to talk to each other, mute, remove participants, and pin tweets.

While a co-host can remove participants, they will not be able to remove the original host or end a broadcast.

Adding a co-host is done via an invitation system that allows you to search for specific users.

Facebook and Clubhouse have recently taken similar steps to improve their audio features.
