What Atlassian Customers Can Do While The Outage Is Being Resolved

April 14, 2022

Around 400 Atlassian customers were affected by the outage, which blocked their access to products and data.

According to the software development and collaboration tool maker, it may take two weeks for customers’ instances to be restored.

However, until the problem is resolved, Atlassian customers should take certain steps to respond to the outage, including verifying that they are affected across all of their Atlassian products and instances.

Those who have not yet migrated from the server option should talk to Atlassian migration officers about the ongoing risk and find out about steps that can help to avoid a similar outage.

They are also advised to continue to monitor how Atlassian reacts to the outage.

For experts, the failure of Atlassian does not mean the end for the company, but it will affect many things, including trust which is an important prerequisite in a highly competitive market.

Customers will take the opportunity to demand additional discounts and flexibility in delivery. Atlassian will also be required to make commitments to improve resilience.
