White House Makes Semiconductor Chip Shortage A Priority

The Biden administration’s top priority is to address a persistent semiconductor shortage that can potentially disrupt the supply of electronics to appliances, computers, and cars.

A meeting on the issue will be held next week and will be chaired by National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and National Economic Council Director Brian Deese.

This meeting will be a first discussion on how to address the persistent shortage.
