Microsoft has fixed the Microsoft Outlook bug that makes it easier to mitigate the PrintNightmare vulnerability in its recently released Windows 10 KB5005611 update for Windows 10 2004, Windows 10 20H2 and Windows 10 21H1.
While this cumulative update is part of the monthly “C” update, which is optional, Microsoft is using it to introduce numerous fixes to Microsoft Outlook and News and Interest that users have encountered since the release of previous updates.
The update for Microsoft Outlook fixes a bug that causes applications to suddenly stop working or an add-in that prevents users from composing replies to emails and for News and Interests, it also fixes blurred icons when users right-click on the taskbar even if they disable the feature.
Windows users who wish to install the update are advised to go to Settings, click Windows Update and select ‘Check for Updates.’ Windows 10 users can download and install the update manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
