Microsoft unveils generative AI tools at Inspire conference

Microsoft’s Inspire conference on July 18-19 introduced groundbreaking generative AI innovations and partner opportunities, such as new pricing for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Bing Chat Enterprise, and enhancements to the Azure AI model catalog.

Microsoft 365 Copilot integrates ChatGPT-based AI into apps at $30 per month per user. While for $20 per month, ChatGPT Plus offers priority and early access. On the list is also Bing Chat Enterprise, a business-focused Bing chatbot with commercial data protection and Sales Copilot, an AI app designed for sales teams to assist with tasks like identifying opportunities and providing context in meetings.

Microsoft also unveiled Power Automate Process Mining which comes with AI features aimed at identifying and improving inefficient processes, and Meta’s Llama 2, the open-source foundation models, are now available on Azure and Windows.

The list includes the Azure AI model catalog, granting developers access to a library of AI models. Additionally, there are enhanced Azure Migrate and Modernize tools to aid businesses in cloud migration, along with a revamped AI Cloud Partner Program offering resources and incentives to partners for building AI-powered solutions.
